About Me
I’m Naomi, a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University.
For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from kindergarten to college in a wide range of subjects and exams, helping them reach their full potential with confidence.
Currently based in Paris, I work with students across the U.S. and internationally, particularly in Europe, Africa, and Asia. I'm familiar with the challenges of international school transitions and time-zone differences.
My Philosophy
The most important part of tutoring is actively listening and paying close attention to each student’s needs. Not all students voice their confusion—some may try to move on or give up if they find a concept difficult to understand.
My priority is to create a learning environment that encourages all questions and to remain attentive to any gaps in understanding.
I believe that any student can excel when given the right support—and it’s my responsibility to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs.
My approach balances content mastery with emotional readiness, ensuring students feel prepared and supported.
Beyond the coursework, I provide mentorship for students interested in STEM and pre-med tracks, helping them navigate the rigor required for elite university programs.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing guitar and violin, improving my French, playing tennis, exploring new cities, solving puzzles, and reading in my downtime.
